Exploring needs in the medical field
As a core institution in the Kobe Biomedical Industry Cluster, our hospital is committed to promoting clinical trials and clinical research. As part of this initiative, we provide opportunities for companies, researchers, and others to observe clinical sites and tour the hospital to explore needs. Through these initiatives, we aim to solve problems in the medical field by creating joint research themes based on the needs of the medical field and commercializing products.
Clinical field observation
Students will receive academic guidance from medical professionals, observe actual surgeries and procedures, and after the surgery or procedure is completed, interview medical professionals about any questions or issues they may have, thereby exploring the potential needs of the medical field.

Hospital visits to identify needs
By touring hospital facilities and medical equipment, including operating rooms that are not currently being used for surgery and unused patient rooms, and by seeing the facility environment and operational flow, you will explore the needs necessary for research and development and setting research themes.

The process from application to the day
1. Application
Please refer to the event guidelines for details such as who is eligible, the number of participants, and how to apply.
②Pre-consultation
We will ask you about your preferences, such as the location, number of people, and date of visit.
3. Coordinating schedules with clinical sites
Approximately two weeks before your desired date, we will begin preparations such as coordinating dates with your desired observation and sightseeing locations.
④ Starting contract procedures Pre-learning and test participation
You will begin the contract procedures, watch a preparatory video, and then take a test.
⑤Contract conclusion
⑥ Clinical site observation and hospital tour
After attending an orientation session, you will begin clinical site observations and hospital tours.
