Palliative care outpatient

We support cancer patients and their families who are visiting our outpatient clinic. We provide support from the early stages of treatment so that painful symptoms such as pain, shortness of breath, and anxiety can be alleviated and treatment can be received as much as possible. We consider together the problems faced by patients and their families, and support them in recuperative life.

Administering the Ease of Life Questionnaire (Distress Screening)

In order to implement palliative care from an early stage for patients who need it for physical and mental pain, outpatient and hospitalized cancer patients are asked to fill out a "questionnaire about the ease of living." I am requesting a description. We cooperate with the attending physician and the nurse in charge to provide support according to physical symptoms such as pain and emotional distress such as anxiety. If you need it, the palliative care team will also support you.
