Since the outpatient clinics of our hospital are for referred patients, in principle, please bring a letter of referral from your family doctor for consultation. Also, please understand that we charge those without a letter of referral a specific treatment charge of 1,380 yen for the initial examination in addition to the co-payment of medical insurance. The medical and dental departments are regarded as separate organizations in the insurance system. So, please be ready to pay these charges. You can make an appointment yourself in advance through your family doctor. The outpatient reception procedure differs slightly between those new and returning patients.
